HOUSE BURNED IN STORM. CLOSE CALL FOR FAMILY. [BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] KAITAIA, Monday. Roused by the choking cries of their youngest child, Mr. and Mrs. Goodhew, who occupied a four-room,ed dwelling at Ahipara, awoke last night to find their bedroom filled with dense volumes of smoke. Assistance was at once proffered when their plight became known.
