TWELVE MONTHS' IMPRISONMENT,

In the Supreme Court to-day Corneille Hubert de Mev Dalkemade was sentenced to 18 months' hard labour on three charges of theft by converting to his own use £2OO belonging to a widow whom lie had persuaded to execute a power of attorney in his favour.
Tho Chief Justice, the Hon. M. Myers, said, it was a very mean theft.
