DYE YOUR FADED CARPET.

A carpet that is self-coloured and faded can be satisfactorily cleaned at home. Some dye of the shade required should bo mixed, and, with a cloth, rubbed into the carpet's pilo while it is still very hot. Leave it for' an hour, and then, to set the colour, rub it over with salt and water.
