A successful dance, organised by the Waimauku Itugby Football Club, was held in the Waimauku Coronation Ilall last evening The proceeds, amounting to £5 16s, are to be devoted to the general fund. The secretary of the club, Mr. C. Kerr-Taylor, announced that a football match would be played practically every Saturday at the Waimauku sports grounds n;s (he club had entered three teams this season.

At a meeting of the management committee of the Tauranga Rugby Union last evening it was decided to accede to tho request of the Cambridge Union for homo and homo matches this season, the first game to be played at Tauranga in July. Arrangements were definitely made for tho Matamata Union to visit Tauranga on July 6.
