Mr. C. Wilson, of Melbourne, a member of the Australian Dairy Produce Control Board, is a through passenger from Vancouver to Sydney by the Aorangi, which arrived at Auckland yesterday.

Mr. W. Goodfellow, managing director of the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company, Limited, returned to Auckland from Vancouver by the Aorangi. yesterday. Mr. Goodfellow has been on a business visit to the United States and Canada.

Mr. A. W. Heyes, a director of the London dairy produce firm of Henry A. Lane and Company, Limited, arrived by the Aorangi from Vancouver yesterday, and is at the Grand Hotel. Sir. Heyes will spend several months in New Zealand studying the dairying industry.

Mr. S. Pilcher, assistant-manage? of the Union Steam Ship Company at Vancouver, arrived by the Aorangi "last evening on a holiday visit to New Zealand." He is accompanied by. his wife, Dr. J. Pilcher, professor of psychology at the University of British Columbia, and his son.

Dr. Stanley Porteous, Australian Gov; ernment research officer at Honolulu", who will head the Australian National Research Council's expedition to the Northern Territory for the purpose of studying the life of the Australian blacks, arrived from Honolulu by the Aorangi last evening, on his way to Sydney.

Mr. F. Bryant, of Tunbridge Wells, formerly of Palmerston North, arrived by the Rotorua yesterday, accompanied by his son, Dr. E. H. Bryant, who has been in private practice at Tunbridge Wells for a number of years. Dr. Bryant has not been in New Zealand since he left for England as a boy 30 years ago. He will make a short holiday stay before returning.

Mr. and Mrs. G. D. Kirkpatrick, of Boston, United States, Mr. and Mrs. G. Washington, of New Jersey, United States, Mr. and Mrs. R. G. O'Connor, of Hobart, Tasmania, Mr. and Mrs. A. Reid, of Melbourne, Mr. and Mrs. E. Fulton, of Wellington, and Mr. and Mrs. R. Menzies, Mr. and Mrs. C. Taylor, and Mr. and Mrs. J. Ritchie, of Hamilton, are at the Hotel Cargen.

Mr. Bruce Kelly arrived by the Rotorua from England yesterday to take over the general management of the electrical branch of A. S. Paterson and Company, Limited, with headquarters in Wellington. He is a son of Mr. George Kelly, managing director of the Hawke's Bay ' Farmers' Co-operative Company, and left New Zealand 10 years ago to study at Cambridge. He has had recent practical training in Sweden.
