THE UNITED PARTY.

AUCKLAND SECRETARY, The appointment of Mr. H. A. C. Daw as Auckland provincial secretary of the United Party is announced. Mr. Davy is the eldest son of Mr. A. E. Davy, Dominion chairman of the party, and has already had considerable experience in the political arena. Pie abandoned a course in law at the Auckland University College to interest himself in politics. and for a time was acting-secretary to the party. He acted as secretary to the Primp, Minister, S;r Joseph Ward, when he opened his campaign in Auckland.
