PRESENTATIONS.
At a meeting of the Hauraki Plain* County Council this week presentations were made to Mr. E. L. Walton, th# present chairman, who is retiring from local body politics, and to Mr. J. C. Miller, who was the first chairman of the council. Mr. Miller is also retiring from office. A resolution from the Turua Town Board was read, stating- that that body had placed on record its regret at the retirement of these two energetic workers <0 the cause of the district.
