AVONDALE WOMEN'S CLUB.
The Avondale Women's Club held its monthly meeting at the Picture Hall, Avondalo South, Mrs. J. W, Kealy piesided over a good attendance. Officers wore elected for the ensuing year as follows:—President, Mrs. J. W. Kealy; vice-presidents, Miss Newton and Mrs. Key; secretary and treasurer, Mrs. H. A. Taylor; committee, Mesdarnes (ircep, Wood, Gill and Armstrong. Miss H. M. Newton was unanimously elected to represent • the club on tho National Council of Women.
Songs by Miss 1. Walker and Miss A. Tilloy and recitations liy Miss Kealy were very much enjoyed. Mrs. H. Bollard was accompanist. Tea served hy Mesdarnes Arman and Aldred closed a very enjoyable afternoon.
