OPOTIKI RESIDENT MISSING.
FRUITLESS SEARCH MADE.
[by telegraph.—own correspondent.] • OPOTIKI, Thursday. So far no trace has been found of Mrs. Vazev, who disappeared from her home near Opotiki on Monday afternoon, beyond the fact that her apron was found on tho bank of the Waiocka River. The local police, with a large number of searchers, conducted further search to-day over several miles without result.
