BRIDE COMING FROM AMERICA

A bride is to join hor husband ill New Zealand and enjoy a honeymoon almost one year after their marriage. She is to sail to-morrow by the Aorangi. The bride in question is Mrs. L. V. Berkner, wife of a radio expert and air pilot with Commander Byrd's Antarctic expedition. Ho was lent by the American Bureau of Standards and has just been transferred for duty to New Zealand. The couple were married in May, 1928, and the husband left, shortly afterwards with Byrd.
