MODEL AERO CLUB.

FLIGHT COMPETITIONS. The first flight competitions of the Now Zealand Mcrjel Aero Club were held yesterday at private grounds in Benson Road, Uemuera. About 12 machines were flown, and although the wind was tricky, somo successful flights were accomplished. The winners of the competitions are:Speed (first past a given point)J Owen, 1; G. M. Owen, 2. Duration contest: P. T. Chinnery-Brown and F. C. Macdonald, equal, 1; J. Owen, 3. Distance competition (point to point): G. M. Owen, 1; J. M. Owen, 2. The next meeting will be hold in three weeks' time, when several new machines will take part.
