SOLICITOR SENT TO PRISON.

ARREST AFTER FOUR YEARS. SYDNEY, Feb. 7. Percy Davey Wynne, aged 44, th® solicitor who was yesterday sentenced to seven years' penal servitude at the Quarter Sessions Court for the misappropriation of money belonging to his clients, had pleaded guilty to five charges, involving £2224. The police said Wynne was committed for trial in 1924 on a charge of misappropriating £3OO. but he absconded from bail and was arrested at Geelong in December last. . -

Imprisonment for seven years is th* maximum penalty provided by the statute.
