DANGER OF LOOSE METAL.

MOTOR-CYCLIST UNSEATED.

DEEP LACERATIONS CAUSED.

[BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. VTHANGAREI, Thursday.

Loose metal on the Maunn Road nearly caused another tragedy yesterday, when Mr. Ernest George Cole, aged 28, was riding a motor-cycle which skidded. He was thrown from his seat, and sustained deep lacerations and abrasions, which necessitated his removal to the Whangarei Hospital. It is only a short time since another motor-cyclist met his death in practically the same place and from the same cause.
