Seventeen "queens of beauty" are at present in Paris awaiting the verdict of the judges on Thursday. On that day one girl will be selected to represent Europe and go to Galveston, United States, to challenge the American "queen" for the world's beauty title. Although the 17 girls are all of different nationalities, each is designated by the English title of "Miss." The competitors comprise: Misses England, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Russia, Poland, Rumania, Holland, Hungary, Switzerland, Denmark, Austria, Serbia, Bulgaria, Greece and Spain. Each girl is Jess than 25 years old and a spinster.
