DROWNED IN MANUKAU.

EXCURSION ENDS FATALLY. A fishing excursion in tho Manukau Harbour on Saturday terminated fatally. A party went to tho Heads in a launch for tho afternoon, and landed at Whatipu for tea. Just after dusk they made preparations for returning to Onehunga, when they missed Mr. Richard Madden. On making a search they found his body in tho watoi:, but none of tho party can say when or how ho got there. Mr. Madden was a widower, aged about 60. Tho body was taken to Onchunga in the launch on Saturday night.
