REFEREE STOPS THE BOUT.

Max Schcmling, a German heavyweight boxer, won on a technical knockout against Johnny Risko, of Cleveland, in tho ninth of a ten-round bout. Schemling sent Risko down four times before the referee stopped the bout. SCOTT MAY MEET HEENEY. CONFIDENCE OF MANAGER. Australian and N.Z. Press Association. LONDON, Fob. 1.
Phil Scott, tho English champion heavy-weight boxer, talks .of shortly going to America. Ilis manager sent him a cable messago saying: "the heavyweight titlo is yours for the asking." Scott thinks his first opponent will be Hceney.
