Tho Hauturu is to sail for Kawhia and Raglan at tho ®nme iinie. The auxiliary schooner Hokianga was barbound at Hokianga yesterday. When the conditions moderate .she will sail for Onehunga to load again cn Wednesday for Hokianga. The T?ichardaon steamer Pukeko arrived from Portland on Saturday night and berthed at King's Wharf. She is to be despatched for East Coast bays, Napier and Wairoa at two o'clock this afternoon.

The New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Rotorua. en route from Wellington to London, and the Federal Lino steamer Kent, en route from Wellington to Liverpool, are reported to have reached Panama last Friday. The Kent was despatched from Wellington on January 10. and the Rotorua from Wellington two days later. R.M.S. NIAGARA AT SYDNEY. The Royal Mail liner Niagara reached Sydney from Auckland at six o'clock 011 Saturday morning. On her return voyage she is to leave Sydney next Thursday for Vancouver, via Auckland, Suva and Honolulu. The vessel is due to return to Auckland on February 11, and i 3 to resume her voyage on the following day. MAMILIUS TO LOAD. From Auckland, via New York, Halifax, London, Avonmouth and Glasgow, the New Zealand Shipping Company's Bteamer Turakina reached Liverpool on Friday. She sailed from Auckland on November 80. NORFOLK REPORTED. The Federal Line steamer Norfolk, which left Wellington for London, Glasgow and Liverpool on December 29, is reported to have arrived at Portland, Oregon, last Fridfcy. THE CANADIAN TRANSPORTER. The Canadian Transporter is due from Napier at 11 o'olock this moirning, and will berth at Princo's Wharf to complete loading general cargo. To-morrow she is to be despatched for New York, Boston and Halifax. THE PORT BOWEN. The Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Bowen is to sail for Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin to-morrow evening to complete unloading cargo from West Coast ports of Great Britain. PAKEHA TO LOAD. The Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Pakeha left Port Natal for New January 25. The vessel is to load in New Zealand for England, and is due at Auckland about March 8. , THE MAUI POMARE. From Apia and Niue Island, via Lyttelton and Wellington, the Government steamer Maui Pornaro is expected at Auckland this evening. At five o'clock to-morrow evening she is to bo despatched for Norfolk Island. THE BRUNSWICK. After unloading the remainder of her bulk oil cnrßO at Wesitern Wharf the Atlantic Union Oil Company's electric tanker Brunswick sailed on lier return voyage to San Pedro on Saturday morning. THE HAURAKI. The Union Company's motor-ship Hauraki sailed for Wellington, Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney on Saturday evening in continuation of her voyage from Pacific Coast ports. THE GA'BRIELLA. The Gabriella sailed for Tolaga Bay, Napier and Waikokopu on Saturday afternoon to complete unloading: coal and timber from Australian ports. Afterwards she will proceed to Greymouth to load timber for Australia. ' THE ULIMAROA. Having left Sydney at 1.30 p.m. on Friday the Huddart-Parker steamer Ulimaroa is due at Wellington to-morrow morning. She is to be despatched on ,lier. return, trip to Sydney on Friday morning. THE PLUME. The Vacuum Oil. Company's iatiker Plume, which arrived from San Francisco on Friday night, berthed at Western Wharf on Saturday morning. After unloading oil into tho company's tanks at Freeman's Bay she is to sail for Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin this afternoon to complete discharge. THE CUMBERLAND. The Federal Lino steamer Cumberland sailed for Wellington and Bluff on Saturday morning to fill up with New Zealand produce for England. She is to be despatched from Bluff for London, via Panama, on February 11. THE GOLDEN STATE. Tho American steamer Golden State sailed for Wellington and Dunedin on Saturday afternoon to complete unloading cargo from Pacific Coast ports. From New Zealand she will return to America, via Levuka and Honolulu. JERNINGHAM POINT BEACON. A Gazette notice by the Marine Department advises that the light buoy at Jerningham Point, Wellington, is being replaced by a concrete light beacon. The advice states:—A concrete cylindrical beacon, the top of which is now about 3ft above highwater, is in course of erection in a depth of 28ft at mean low-water springs. It is expected the beacon will be completed during March, 1929, and upon it a flashing red li;ht, 3 seconds, height 17ft, will be installed and the esisting light-buoy removed. WITHIN WIRELESS RANGE.
