HERE AND THERE.
An autobiography of the lato Lord Haldane will bo published by Hodder and Stoughton shortly. Mr. Oliver Elton, late professor of English literature at Liverpool University, is to bo the biographer of C. E. Montague. The late Sir Rider Haggard left several unpublished novels. Ono of these "Mary of Maryon's Isle," is being issued: and another, " Belsbazzar," will probably appear early this year. Among the most useful year books is that issued by the Daily Mail. The usual list of special features contains articles on numerous curient topics. The cinema, broadcasting, music, sport, as well as industry, trade and shipping aro separately dealt with, in addition to the detailed information on every variety of topic, from Abatement of Income Tax to Zanzibar. The brief biographies of 1000 prominent peoplo again form a special feature.
