Brown, of Te Kuiti, and Mr, and Mrs. E. Mizen, of Te Awamutu, are at the Central Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. C. II van Hise, of New York, and Mr. and Mrs. W. R. McAllep, of Wellington, are at the Grand Hotel. The Rev. W. C. Wood, vicar of Papakura, has been indisposed for the past two weeks. He is now visiting Helensville. _ . Mr. G. McLauehlan and Mr. If. E. Taylor, of Wellington, and Mr. W. \V. Kirby, of Arapuni, are at the Grand Hotel. Captain H. S. Hilton, marine superintendent of the Canadian Government Merchant Marine, arrived from Wellington yesterday. The Right Rev. L. S. Kernpthorne, Bishop of Polynesia, is visiting Auckland. He has been spending part of his vacation in Nelson. Mr. A. Hanson and Mr. W. R. Pass, of Putaruru, Mr. R. Dunn, of Taihape, and Mr. F. Jackson, of Wellington, are at the Royal Hotel. Mr. M. Price, of Thames, Mr. J. Shrimpton, of Palmerston North, Mr. G. Hayley, of Christchurch, and Mr. A. Sorley, of Hamilton, are at the Central Hotel. Mr. W. Wallace, chairman of the Auckland Hospital Board, has returned from Wellington, where he attended a meeting of the executive of the Hospital Boards' Association.-Paymaster-Commander E. N. P«. Fletcher, M.8.E., Secretary of the Naval Department, Wellington, who acted as deputy-judge-advocate at a naval courtmartial' in Auckland yesterday, left for the South by train last evening.
