LORRY OVER BANK.
COLLISION WITH CAR.
PRIVERS ESCAPE INJURY. 1
[BY TELEGRAPH. —OWV CORRESPONDENT.] TAIHAPE, Sunday.
After colliding with a motor-car driven by Mrs. T. Gilbert, of Taoroa, near Taihape, a motor-lorry driven by Mr. M. Forbes went over a bank about 18ft.
high. The car was extensively damaged, but the lorry escaped with a broken axle and minor damage. No one was injured.
The lorry was owned by Nicholls Bros., a firm of local carriers. The accident occurred at a sharp bend on the Pukeokaku Road, near Taihape.
