After loading refrigerated and general ci:rgo at Queen's Wharf the New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Rotorua is to sail for Tokomaru Bay, Napier and Wellington on Wednesday morning to complete loading. She is scheduled to leave Wellington for Southampton and London, via Panama, at 3 p.m. on January 8. THE MALT POMARE. An expected arrival at Auckland to-nisht or to-morrow morning is tho Government motor-ship Maui Pomare, with passengers, mail nnd cargo from Norfolk Island. The vessel will remain at Auckland over the holidays and' on January 8 she is to be despatched for Nine Island nnd Apia TREKIEVE AT COLON. En route from New York to New Zealand the Hain Line steamer Trekieve. under charter to the A. and A. Line, is reported to have reached Colon last Thursday. The vessel is bringing case oil and general merchandise for discharge at Auckland. Wellington. Lyttelton and Dunedin. She is due at Auckland about January 15. The New Zealand Shipping Company are the local agents. WATERFRONT HOLIDAYS. To-morrow and Wednesday will bo observed as holidays on the waterfront, and no cargo work will be done on vcFsels in port.
