TRIP IN HYDROPLANE.
A DARING ADVENTURE. SYDNEY TO NEWCASTLE. SYDNEY. Dec. 14. Mr. Harry Larsen made a daring voyage in an outboard racing hydroplane from Sydney to Newcastle in the record time of three hours 55 minutes. On the journey Mr. Larson nearly came to grief through striking a shark off Lake Macquaiie. The sea was calm for the entire journey.
