At the inquest this afternoon into the death of Mr. C. H. Lawrence, of Kopua rahi. who died in the Thames Hospital as tho result of suffering injuries caused by being kicked by a horse, a verdict of accidental death was returned. A son of deceased said that his father brandished a stick in front of a jibbing horse, which turned and viciously flung out its heels at deceased, striking him on the body
