NEW SOUTH WALES BILL.

SECOND READING CARRIED.

SYDNEY, Nov. 28. Tho Elections Amendment Bill passed reading in the New South Wales Legislative Assembly. It provides for compulsory preferential voting. ' i New South Wales will be divided into three parts, Sydney, Newcastle and the country areas having 43, five and 42 electoral districts respectively.

The use of joint Federal and State rolls is proposed.
