ESPERANTO AND RADIO.

POPULAR OVERSEAS. Those who combine the interests of radio and Esperanto in Europe are at present being well catered for by Continental wireless stations, which broadcast talks of practical interest at regular weekly intervals. Germany would appear to cater most fully for Esperanto enthusiasts, with some 14 stations on tho air regularly with tho international language. Tho Leipzig station transmits daily every morning. Coming nearer home, talks are regularly broadcast by certain Australian stations, according to tho Esperanto organ, International Language. Th.it Esperanto has an actual value in broadcasting was proved by its use by Russian stations at the time of the disaster to General Nobile's expedition early this year, the Russian stations, using Esperanto, being instrumental in the rescue of the explorer. American and Eastern stations also broadcast at regular intervals talks of interest to both Esperanto enthusiasts and listenors in in general. In all, about 40 stations in various parts of the world are providing instruction at different times in a language that must grow with tho increase in long-distance radio reception.
