CABLEGRAM CHARGES.
FURTHER REDUCTION SOUGHT AUSTRALIAN NEWSPAPERS. CANBERRA, Nov. 28. At a meeting of tho Australian Newspaper Conference a resolution was passed to the effect that, in view of the reductions in charges for cablegrams, which followed tho inauguration of the Pacific Cable Board, and again upon tho functioning of the beam wireless system, it bo now urged that, before Australia becomes a partner iri tho wireless merger, provision should be made for peoplo of tho Commonwealth to bo assured of further reductions, which should becomo possible with the development of the beun> system.
