Nov. 27 The main inquiry into the loss of the British liner Vcstris, off the coast of Virginia, was continued to day before Mr. Frank O'Neill, United States Commissioner. With him as advisers were the British and American nautical experts, Captain Henry McConkey and E. P. Jessup. Mr. Charles 11. Tuttlc, Attorney for New York South, again conducted the proceedings. Captain Harry Wheeler, superintendent of the Lamport and Holt Line, said that in his opinion tho sinking liner was caused by a fracture of the sea connections. 1 , Witness had previously suggested four tentative reasons for the disaster, but later he expressed the opinion that the one outlined abovo outweighed the others.
