TO CLEAN SPONGES.
To clean sponges rinse them in clean < water, squeeze out all the moisture, 'hen soak them for an hour in one pint o water, to which the juice of one Jonioii has been added. Squeezo nn . , liquid until clean, rinse yrelJ m cJean water and then dry out of [ preserve sponges never sqweered and hung MP to dry. Should the sponges be sonpy and creasy; before cleaning soak in strong £, "~ter, then rinse .ml * soak in the lemon juico nnd water.
