SIMILAR INJURY A YEAR AGO

[BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] KAITAIA, Tuesday.

A seaman named Paling, employed on the ketch Coronation, broke his log while tho vessel was being unloaded at Awanui yesterday. A half-ton parcel of manure fell on Paling, who was making up a sling of cargo in the hold. Medical attention was givon to the injured man, who was then sent to tho Mangonui Hospital. It is a coincidence that Paling broke tho samo leg in tho same week of last year.
