NATIONAL COUNCIL OF WOMEN.
Sir, —I shall bo obliged if you will allow me io correct an impression which may bo made by tho report in Tuesday's Hekat.t) in regard to a bequest made to tho National Council of Women. Reference was made in tho course of the meeting to the fact that money had been bequeathed to the council with a view to tho prosecution of tho work begun by the testator and her associates for tho furtherance of women's political aspirations; but there was no implication made that any condition k \vas attached to tho bcouest. Sarah E. Jackson.
