PROGRESS IN AUCKLAND. NEW CAMP LODGE AT HUNUA. Iho iiniiiijil iiicclii)!! of (lie Auckland Young IS Ten's Christian Association was held last evening, the president, Mr. W. J. Hoidsworth, presiding over a good attendance.
In presenting the report and balancesheet, which were summarised in Monday's Herald, the president said that the past year had been one of marked activity. The most important event was the completir.il oi the Camp I.odge at Hnnua, which hail l»cen ejected by means-

An outline of the work of the association for the community was given b\ Mr. C. J. Tunks, who remarked thai while (he association was sometimes crit:ciscd for soliciting financial help, it had never been and never could he entirely sell"-supporting. All the community tvcji ?.- was unproductive financially, but not as a service investment.
The benefit of the spiritual activities among members was emphasised by Mr. A. Mill, while the outlines of tho other branches of the association's work shown i.i the report were supplemented in short addresses by Messrs. J. G. Smith, H. 11. Ilorslev, 15. 13. Hooper and H. 0. Fountain.
A short address was given by Mr. M. D. Grocott, a member of the New Zealand National Council of the Y.M.C.A.. who said the Auckland Association seemed to have done splendid work and to be flourishing in every department.
The election of officers resulted: — President, Mr. C. 11. Furness; vice-presi-dents, Messrs. A. C. Caughoy. \V. 11 Elliugham and 11. G. Fountain: directors, Messrs. H. It- Jenkins, M.P., E. E. Kitcliener. .J. 0. Smith, C, J. Tunks, W. J. 1 foldsworth. and W. E. J»ush; hon. treasurer, Mr. R. 11. Ilowlev: lion, solidtor, Mr. J. R. Johnstone; auditor, Mr. 13. L. Bagnall. A vote of thanks to the retiring president and other officers was carried unanimously. Votes of thanks to the ladies' auxiliary and other helpers, the members of the staff, and the members of tho Rotary Club for their subscription in aid of the Camp Lodge at Ilunua were also passed. At the conclusion of the meeting the presentation of awards won in the gymnasium championships was made as follows; —
