EXTRAORDINARY FIGURES. DESTRUCTION OF VILLAGES. Times Cable. .LONDON, Nov. 25. The Riga correspondent of tho Times says tho Soviet has published a report under tho caption of " Alarming Figures." This states that cases of arson incidental to fires in the country since October, 1927, number 110,000. They were largely due to strife, vengeance and hooliganism. Ono village was set on fire 21 times, another 20 times and a third 18 times Eight villages were completely destroyed.
