SCHOOL MAGAZINE.

GRAMMAR GIRLS' EFFORT. A place has been foipid for every phase of school activity in tho latest issue of tho Auckland Uirls' Grammar School magazine. It is no mere chronicle of events, hut a happy combination of literary efforts with the more serious side of school life, more or less concealed under the breezy style of the raconteur. The number of contributions speaks volumes for the interest taken by tlio girls in the affairs of tlio school. Each form seems to have sought to produce something worthy of thu magazine arid, incidentally, of a standard equal to that of a higher form. Almost every article is accompanied by an appropriate sketch, in most cases evidencing tho modern schoolgirl's happy f lit look on life, and showing a surprising amount of talcpt. Interspersed aro a number of photographs of school teams and activities.
