Oats, I'oas and Beans.—Steady, MARKET REPORTS. FIiUIT AND PRODUCE PRICES. The ciiy markets ure becoming well supplied with small summer fruits. Further supplies of cherries arrived by the steamer from Sydney this week, while Christmas plums wore available yestorday, Gooseberries are plentiful, values fluctuating from day to day. Pineapples and oranges, which arrived from Sydney this week, were sold on Wednesday, realising fairly good prices. Strawberries aro meeting wiLli a good d?wand at slightly higher prices than'tluMa ruling at the beginning of the week. Local apples and pears aro still hard to sell, and prices aro in consequence very low, New potatoes and green peas aro extremely plentiful, with a consequent effect on prices, which are now very low. There are fair supplies of almost all other vegetables, which arc meeting a keen demand. The offering at the poultry 6ales yosterday was the largest this season. The demand for tablo birds of good quality was keen, bettor prices being paid for fat birds than for laying fowls. Dairy produce sold at almost ruling rates. Eggs weio in moderate supply, with a moderate demand. Thero was a good demand for farmers' butter, supplies of which w«>re onlv moderate.
