The lato Mr. Walter lienry Bailey, who died on November 10, directed his trustee, after providing for certain legacies and annuities, to hold the balance of his estate for tho Wellington City Council, for swimming baths, the Mas sey Agricultural College, for general purposes and Dr. Barnardo's Homes. Tho Wellington City Council and the other institutions arc to share equally in the residue of the estate, and it is understood that eventually they will receive £SOOO each.
