CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH.
INDUCTION AT MOUNT EDEN.
The induction service of the Rev. R. C. Roberts, 8.A., 13.D., into the pastorate of the Mount Eden Congregational Church was held on Wednesday evening. The Moderator of the New Zealand Congregational Union, tho Rev. H. son, presided over a crowded attendance of members and friends. After the reading of the lesson by the Rev. G. Heighway, the steps which led to the calling of Mr. Roberts to the pastorate were detailed by the secretary, Mr. Arthur Hooton. The installation of Mr. Roberts as pastor was followed by the dedicatory prayer by the Rev. A. C. McMillan, and the charge to the minister # and the church, delivered by the Rev. Lionel B. Fletcher. Tho meeting concluded with tho singing of "Glory to God," from the Messiah, and a prayer by tho Rev. Charles Wickham. Mr. Roberts, who is from Cardiff, Wales, will begin his ministry at the Mount Eden Church next Sunday.
