ACCIDENT TO LINESMAN.
SERIOUS INJURIES SUSTAINED.

An electric linesman, Mr. H. Sharman, in the employ of the Railway Department, was working on some lines being erected in connection with electrifying the Lyttelton Tunnel to-day, when he fell 30ft. f o tho ground. He was picked up unconscious and taken to the hospital. At a late hour ho was reported to be semi-con-scious, His condition was serious, his injuries including a fractured skull.
