ON THE WRONG ROLL.
Sir, —With the alteration of the electorate my wife got plated on the Auckland {Suburbs roll, although she voted here last election, and bhould have been on the. Manukau roll. On Wedneday she had to vote as for the Auckland Suburbs. The same for the licensing poll. If the returning officer had not ridden the high horse 1 might have been of some assistance to her. Had I been permitted to assist I could have explained, and, as her husband I think I had a right to, although I know she could have asked the returning officer, I think it would have been much better iif sho had been given a Manukau ballot paper with a note on it by the returning officer that her name appears on the Auckland Suburbs roll, number so and so. Panmure. R. M. King.
