CIVIL SERVANTS.
Sir, —The secretary of the New Zenland Post and Telegraph Employees' Association writes in the Herald, of tho 12th insl., to the cffcct.tliat they are (lying to Ret the 1922 cut in their salaries restored, and have canvassed the support of various M.P's., to assist. Now what about 'iliose of us who were cut out altogether, viz., retrenched with no compensation under the then Government scheme of economy. I think we ought 10 get our jobs back before considering n paltry cut, and after all their nut was not a salary cut. but, I understand, was a cut from the bonus they ;wcre then receiving. However, I think we, with good records, who were cut out completely are entitled to prior consideration. KETRENCtfEI) 1922.
