Tho output of butter by the Matnknns Dairy Company's factory last month was 41 tons 1 quarter 181b., and for the four months just ended 82 tons 8 cwt. 2qrs. 231b. These figures compare with 33 tons 15 cwt. 1 qr. 201b., and 67 tons 14cwt. Iqr. 2611t. for (he corresponding periods larft season.
The payout for October, at the rate of Is 4d per lb. for fust grade, was £5102 Is Bd, compared with £4122 8s )3d for October, 1927, when (lie payment was at the rate of Is 4d per lb. The total advance payment for the present season to October 31 amounts to £10,319 10s 7d, against £OI6O 10s 2d last year.
