WATERSIDE WORKERS.
DISTRESS FOLLOWS STRIKE. SMELTER SOUGHT FOR CHILDREN. (Received October 28. 5.20 p.m.) MELBOURNE. Oct. 23. Acute distress is prevalent among the families of waterside workers as a result of the recent strike. An appeal has been made by social organisations asking tho public to shelter the children of waterside workers • until normal times return.
