WOMAN REFUSES EVIDENCE. (Received October 20, 11.25 p.m.) SYDNEY, Oct. 26. When Jack Simpson and Charles Webb appeared in-'the Police Court to-day on a charge of assaulting a young woman after she had accepted a lift in a motor-car, the police stated that the woman concerned had now declined to give evidence against the accused The men were remanded on bail, which previously had been refused.
