STRAND THEATRE.
A stirring naval epic, "The Battles of Coronel and the Falkland Islands,' 5 is. at present showing at tho Strand Theatre. The lilm is even tho more interesting because vessels actually attached to tho Royal Navy were used in the production, and noted German actors and naval officers wero engaged for the principal enemy parts. Tho excited efforts of a wireless operator on Lho sighting of enemy vessels, tho downhearted tapping of defeat, and tho ciheeriness of British Jack Tars in all emergencies are aliko admirably portrayed. Tho agility and readiness of the British sailor, his indomitable fighting spirit, and the willing efforts of overworked dock hands when, called upon in emergency, are heartening to watch. Tho picture ir. accurate in every detail, even to tho loading of supplies. , Tho quick signalling of semaphore and searchlight, the flash and recoil of deadly guns, and feverish stoking of the boilers, even using the ship's furniture as fuel in emergency, are splendidly shown. Graceful ships of war speed through the darkness or plough through the waves in dajlight, shipping heavy seas. The supporting programme includes a prologue of dance and song, a cartoon comedy and pictures of the palaces of the King. TUDOR THEATRE. The principal attraction to be shown at the Tudor Theatre this evening is "When Fleet Meets Fleet," a dramatic story of tho sea, featuring Henry Stuart, Bernard Goetzher and Agnes Esterhazz.
