NEW ZEALAND-BUILT AEROPLANE.
Sir,—ln Monday's Herald I notice Messrs. Everson are credited with having made the first New Zealand-built aeroplane. I join with the Herald in giving due honour to these two young men in their enterprise. At tho same time I wish to draw attention to the fact that, as early as' 1912, an aeroplane was built by Mr. P Fisher, ■of Wellington, and piloted by Mr. R. White, of the same city. It was flown in the YVairarapa and was also shown at the Maslerton 'and Hastings Shows in 1913. A.C.E.S. October 24, 1928.
