DEFINING BUSINESS AREAS
The One Tree Hill Road Board met Inst evening, the chairman, Mr. If. B. Dobbie, presiding.
The city engineer forwarded a plan giving details of the existing use of sections on the city side of Manukau Road and the Great South Road. lie stated he considered all the Manukau Road should bo open for business premises, but that such premises should bo restricted on the Great South Road to the important junctions. Consideration was deferred until next meeting.
Seven building permits, involving £3575. were issued during the fortnight. Tenders for metal, elc., v/ere referred to the foreman and clerk to report at next meeting.
