SANITARY CONTROL SYSTEM. BRITISH PARTY TO INSPECT. flicceivcd October 7, 5.5 p.m.l British Wireless. RUGBY, Oct. 6. A party consisting of Lord Cawley and Mr. E. J. Campbell and Captain Tergus Graham, Conservative M.P.'s for Camberwell and Cumberland respectively, sailed to-day by the steamer Alinanzora for Buenos Aires. The object of their visit, which has been arranged at the invitation of tlio Rural Society of Argentina, is to enable tho party to form an opinion at first-hand on the soundness of tho sanitary control of exported meat. The visit has particular reference to the fears recently expressed in the British Parliament about the danger of infection from foot and mouth disease. With this end in view a tour of the ranches and freezing works in Argentina has been arranged by the Rural Society in order that ocular proof of the efficiency of the system may be given.
