AN ENJOYABLE DANCE.
An enjoyable evening was spent at tha dance arranged by Miss Spencer and held in the Symondsville Danco Studio on ■Saturday, With decorations carried out in orange and pink intermingled with graceful foliage tlio hall looked very bright and attractive. The dance music was played by Mr. J. Kowe and his orchestra.
Among those present -were: Mrs. Spencer, who wore black panne velvet and gold lace; Mrs. Russell, pastel green I taffeta and gold trimming; .Mrs. H. Wilson, germanium red georgette; Mrs. 11. Schmidt, deep orange, trimmed with orange and bronze embossed chenille; Miss Spencer, cherry sequinned frock ; Miss King, air force blue taffeta; Miss Herbert, coral pink taffeta and lace; Miss M. Booth, mauve georgette with white fur hem: Miss N. Schmidt, wbito georgette and silver lace; Miss Seabrook, powder blue georgette with frilled skirt; Miss G. Herring, ivory lace frock over fiesh pink satin; Miss Grant, apple green beaute and draped skirt; Miss F. Clarke, sunglow crepe de cninc with shawi to tone; Miss D. Norton, cherry and silver lame with floral shawl; Miss Latimer, bouffant frock with georgette flouncing of apple green; Miss Burch, cornflower blue crepe de chine and silver; Miss Gemmell, black frilled georgette; Miss E. Smith,' shell pink georgette draped with white tulle; Miss R. Wickham, blush pink georgette embroidered with silver; Miss E. Wickham, flame taffeta. Miss Hill wore apricot satin with large mauve velvet bow at the back; Miss Fteid, black satin beaded in diamanfe; Miss J. Casey, mauve georgette petalled frock; Miss E. Casey, black frilled georgette and tulle; Miss J. Bennett, roso floral taffeta and gold lame; Miss Morey, China blue georgette and lace; Miss J. Pomerov, black crepe de chine and flowered chiffon; Miss M. McKenzie, old rose ring velvet trimmed with floral silk: Miss C. Bain, Lcttv blue crepe de chine and silver; Miss Parks, cyclamen georgette trimmed with gold lame and large flower at shoulder; Miss E. Porter, amber satin beaute; Miss Porter, flesh pink crepe de chine; Miss J. Cox, pastel taffeta with shawl to tone; Miss Webster, primrose taffeta and gold lame; Miss Meredith, silver lame corsage and skirt of cornflower blue georgette; Miss Lyall, sea green satin with over-dress of green tulle and diamante; Miss G. Lyall, buttercup georgette, large tulle bow •at back; Miss Brown, powder blue taffeta banded with gold lame, old rose shawl; Miss N. Richardson, coral pink beaded georgette; Miss Stokes, floral chiffon and crepe de chine; Miss Perry, flame georgette bouffant and frock; Miss E. Bentley. leaf green georgette and ivory lace; Miss L. Christie, ivory lace over coral pink; Miss C. Christie, flesh georgette over roso satin; Miss E. Hamilton,' eau de nil satin beaute and velvet.
