The dance ball afc Newmarket- was resplendent with new decorations and brightly coloured lamp shades, on Saturday evening, and a large number of guests enjoyed the dancing. A special feature of the evening was " Marimba," played by Mr. Corrigan, recently from America, Honolulu and Suva, assisted by Mr. Alan Brown, which proved very popular and was given two encores.
