FALL OF METEORITE.

TWO MEN KILLED IN INDIA. PERTURBATION OF VILLAGERS. Australian and N.Z. Press Association DELHI. Sept. 20 An iron meteorite, weighing two tons, fell in the village of Kanth, Central Provinces. It killed two men and injured a third. The noise of the fall was heard 20 miles. A cavity was made in the ground over 30ft deep. This is believed to be the first recorded instance of a human being having been killed by a meteorite. The inhabitants of the district regard the occurrence as a sign of Divine wrath.
