Sir Hubert Wilkins will bail to-morrow on the Munson liner Southern Cross for Montevideo Ho will be accompanied by Lieutenant Carl Eielson and an additional pilot, Joo Crosson. Their equipment includes two Lockhead Vega planes. They will join a Norwegian whaler off Montevideo, which will take them to Grahams Land, in the Antarctic. EXPEDITION OF BYRD. WHALER BEGINS VOYAGE. Australian and N.Z. Press Association NEW YORK. Sept 2d. Tlio whaler Larson, of Commander Richard Byrd's South Polar expedition, with four planes and three pilots on board, sailed from Norfolk, Virginia, to-day. Commander Byrd will join the Larsen atSan Pedro, California.
